Terms of Use

The rules for using the DCD app and website.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the DCD app or this website you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use DCD for a school or tuition class, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.

2. Accounts

3. Free trials and fees

Parents get a 7-day free trial and institutions get a 15-day free trial. After the trial, access continues only if you subscribe at the price shown on our Pricing page or agreed with us in writing. Prices may change; we will give notice before a change takes effect for you. Subscriptions bought through Google Play are billed and can be cancelled through Google Play.

4. What teachers record

Schools and tuition classes decide what attendance, marks, remarks and fees information to enter. Fees records in DCD are a record-keeping tool. DCD does not collect or hold fee payments between parents and teachers.

The school or tuition class is responsible for the accuracy of what it enters and for having the parents' permission to enter their child's information.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not: share your account; try to see another person's or another school's information; upload anything unlawful, offensive or harmful to children; copy or resell the textbook pages or other content; interfere with the app's security or normal working.

6. Our content

The app design, our original text, illustrations, translations and other material in DCD belong to us or our licensors. You may use them through the app for learning and classroom use, but may not copy, publish or resell them. Names of textbooks and publishers belong to their owners.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep DCD available but cannot promise it will always be free of interruption or error. We may improve, change or remove features, and some features shown as "Coming soon" may be added later.

8. Ending use

You can stop using DCD at any time and ask us to delete your information (see Delete my data). We may suspend an account that breaks these Terms or puts others at risk.

9. Limits of responsibility

DCD is a learning and record-keeping aid. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions made only on the basis of information in the app. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer.
